The Levels Of Formalities Of A Custom Cufflinks Build

Custom Cufflinks in 3D style

Over the years, custom cufflinks have become part of every man's collection of accessories. Not only do custom cufflinks look great when you really want to dress up your suit but they are also really hip to wear on any given outing.

Custom cufflinks come in various levels of formality in terms of custom cufflink build.  Let’s start with the least formal to the most formal in terms of cufflink build:

Cufflink #1 – It’s very common and inexpensive. They are in a playful colour and this would be something that a lot of guys love especially the young men. It adds a bit of colour to his wardrobe, helps him stand out a bit and at the same time, one can purchase quite a few of them.

Cufflink #2 – This cufflink is the one that you’ll probably see most often. You can have a choice of pewter, silver or gold.

It is actually two separate pieces, so we have the hinge part that moves and that has been attached to the piece of jewellery. Most cufflinks you see out there are going to be this style.

Cufflink #3 – This style is technically more formal and that’s because it has no moving parts and usually made from a precious metal. This one’s made from silver and its whole design is to be able to go through the hole and hold it on both ends without having any moving parts.

Cufflink #4 – This one’s unique. This actually I had it made by a craftsman. It’s got a very unique design. You would even argue perhaps that this one isn’t as formal as cufflink #3, but I put it here because this basically can become an heirloom since it’s a one of a kind piece.
The four levels have been broken up for you to get a better overview of custom cufflinks.

There are various purposes why you wear a pair of custom cufflinks:

1. To fasten your shirt cuffs
This is the single most obvious reason why you need custom cufflinks, unless you roll up your sleeves whenever you put on any shirt.

2. Real men accessorise themselves
Accessories do make the look on men. You do not need to have a fanciful pair of cufflinks, but let's say if your outfit is rather monochromatic or seems like one colour, a pair of metallic custom cufflinks with some crystals will help break the monotony.

3. Not all cufflinks are created equal
Not all cufflinks that look expensive are priced sky-high. They can be both affordable and eye-catching cufflinks. You don't have to break the bank to look great.

4. Dress to impress
Be it your job interview or your dinner date, cufflinks can be the real game-changer. Choosing the right pair of cufflinks can make you look more professional and clinch that dream job of yours.

5. Form and Function
We have seen cufflinks that look great, but how about cufflinks that looks great and have a practical use as well?  Such as watch cufflinks that can tell time.

6. Wear them on any day
Cufflinks need not be just for the office on work days, it can be on a casual dress-down Friday, your buddy's wedding dinner reception.

7. Look wealthy, feel wealthy
Cufflinks can make one look wealthy, and some may even say that looking wealthy gets you preferential treatment. It is just natural that you are judged by how you dress.

8. Sentimental value
Put on that pair of cufflinks that you wore during your wedding march, or the vintage 18k gold pair of cufflinks that was passed down from your dad for your 21st birthday.
